Role Overview
We are seeking driven and goal-oriented Business Development Agents to join our South African team. The primary focus of this role is to identify and onboard Shopify-based brands to a partnership-based ecosystem, enabling them to create strategic collaborations with resellers and retailers.
About the Platform
The platform enables Shopify merchants to build direct, trusted partnerships between suppliers and resellers. It creates a controlled ecosystem where:

Suppliers can share specific products with approved reseller partners under their own terms.

Resellers review and accept terms before adding products to their store.

Merchants can expand product offerings without carrying inventory, increase revenue/AOV, and automate fulfillment.
Key Responsibilities

Identify and contact Shopify merchants and brands in South Africa and beyond.

Present the benefits of the supplier–reseller partnership model.

Onboard brands to the platform and guide them through the setup process.

Build and maintain long-term relationships with merchants to encourage collaboration.

Meet and exceed monthly onboarding targets while maintaining accurate outreach records.
Requirements

Experience: Prior experience in sales, business development, or partnership acquisition.

Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with Shopify or general e-commerce platforms is highly desirable.

Skills: Strong communication, persuasion, and relationship-building skills.

Attributes: Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently.

Location: Based in South Africa with reliable internet access.
